Fluoride plays a big roll in the prevention against White Spots. There are number of tooth cleaning cavity protection products out there that contain Fluoride. Fluoride Products and uses

Fluoride Toothpaste when used on an everyday basis is very effective in the prevention against White Spots with your Dental Braces. Using a toothpaste that has more Fluoride is more effective than using a toothpaste with less.
Fluoride Varnish  Is an in office application. It is done 2-4 times per year, and highly recommended for those wearing Dental Braces.  Patients who are wearing Dental Braces should ask for a treatment, which is very effective against white spots. The Fluoride varnish is called CPP-ACP.
